(They wrote this themselves, so don't blame me!) ;-)

PHIL BEDARD AND LARRY LALONDE

Producers and Writers

The award-winning writing/producing team of Phil Bedard and Larry Lalonde had its origins in the Montreal-based comedy group "The Clone Theatre", formed in 1974, later known as "The Maroons" (along with their lifelong friends and co-conspirators Glenn Davis and William Laurin. Together, the four men weigh well over 500 pounds and reach a height of over 23 feet, but that's not important.

From their sketch comedy days to their recent endeavours as Supervising Producers on the television series "John Woo's Once A Thief", Bedard and Lalonde have not been idle. They wrote, produced and performed an ACTRA Award-winning comedy series for CFCF Radio in Montreal, sold numerous screenplays (10, if you're counting) and wrote for The Royal Canadian Air Farce, Canada's most popular comedy troupe.

Bedard and Lalonde have written and/or produced over 90 hours of television. Aside from "John Woo's Once A Thief", other series they've worked on include "Mann and Machine" (NBC), "Scene of the Crime" (CBS/CTV), "Kung Fu - The Legend Continues" (WB Network) and the cult hit "Forever Knight" (CBS/CTV).

Bedard and Lalonde are currently in production on their latest feature film, "Top Of The Food Chain", a Sci-Fi/Art Film/Horror/Comedy starring Campbell Scott, Fiona Loewi, Tom Everett Scott and Nigel Bennett.
