Nick's Loft. We saw it in almost every episode of Forever Knight—a red brick warehouse with a water tower on the roof, supposedly located at 101 Gateway. The filming location at 68 Broadview Avenue is the centerpiece of the FK Tour of Toronto, and dozens of fans have had their pictures taken in front of it, probably much to the bemusement of the various businesses that have occupied the premises.

And now the Loft is actually going to become a loft! A developer is turning the former auto body shop/warehouse into luxury lofts.

The Toronto Star (Feb. 23, 2002, Condo Living section) reports: "A mid-size project also due to come on the market this spring is a loft conversion at 68 Broadview Ave. by the Sorbara Group, the same developers who did the popular Brewery Lofts on Sumach St. near Queen. The warehouse, with the distinctive water tower on its roof, will be converted into 150 to 160 units ranging in size from 1,200 to 1,400 square feet that will sell for $220-$240 per square foot. It has the huge windows, exposerd brick and post and beam supports."

We found these "101s" painted on a loading dock door—is this the source of Nick's address of 101 Gateway? We know the "Gateway" part came from Gateway Auto Body, which used to occupy part of the building.
