WHAT ARE LIGHT COUSINS...
Light Cousins are one of the character affiliations on the FORKNI-L
_Forever Knight_ mailing list. Cousins are the followers of Lucien
Lacroix (Nigel Bennett), the two-thousand year old vampire master of Nick
Knight (Geraint Wyn Davies). Light Cousins are a "fraction" faction,
separate from "true" Cousins, and many Light Cousins consider a different
faction their primary affiliation.
Light Cousins wish
LaCroix would embrace his human side, not unlike the way Dark
Knighties may wish Nick to embrace his vampirism. We celebrate
the same LaCroix true Cousins do -- the power, dignity, eloquence and control -- but we celebrate his human side in the full-faced
rejection of the evil he has done and been. "Ashes to Ashes", "Be My Valentine", and "A More Permanent Hell" are the primary Light Cousin episodes, though we also find moments worthy of attention in "Night in Question", "Father's Day", "A Fate Worse Than Death", "Sons of Belial", and others.
Associated with Light Cousin-hood through the common bond of Be My Valentine are the Fleur-Boosters (Fleur's affiliation) and the Faithfuls (the LC&Fleur couple affiliation).
