My Favourite Part of the Show
No matter what the '90's plot is, my favourite part of every Forever Knight episode is those wonderful flashbacks. Now, I'm
(almost) an historian and I know that very little, if any, attempt at historical accuracy was made
(and let's not get into the whole Battle of Hastings discussion). They allow me to dream of time
travel and of a chance to see history being made over and over and over again... They also help
us understand Nick a little more by seeing the events that shaped his life. Uh, 'life'. 8^) There
are many instances where the flashbacks further 'humanize' Nick, by showing that he, like
mortals, can make the same mistake twice, like in 'I Will Repay'.
